follow the lines


Many new patterns for one week, but I can't resist! Follow the lines is a small collection in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarns, more spesific their Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project. I've been so happy to put these sweet designs together and loved every second.

The collection includes following designs:

Flowing Lines sweater
 

Flowing lines is a lovely sailor-style sweater with textured front and back. It’s worked from top down with twisted stitches - no cable needle needed! Boatneck and long ribbings for hem and cuffs make this design modern and fun to wear.

Finished bust circumference: 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52)” [70 (80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130) cm].
Yarn: 740 - 1370 yards [677 - 1253 meters] of Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted or other worsted weight yarn.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in pattern stitch.

Line Break shawl



Line Break is a modern garter stitch shawl. It has crossing lines created with eyelets and asymmetric shape. The shawl is worked from centre down and shaped with short rows.


Finished size: 87” 220 cm wide and 25” 64 cm long at longer centre spine.
Yarn: 880 yards [800 meters] of Malabrigo Yarn Sock or other fingering weight yarn.
Gauge: 18 sts and 40 rows in garter stitch.

Shimmer in Blue cowl


Shimmer in Blue is a lovely little cowl. It’s fun to knit with the spiralling, reversible cables and lovely to wear. The cowl is worked from top down.

Yarn: 320 yards [293 meters] of Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted or other worsted weight yarn.
Gauge: 16 sts and 28 rows in garter stitch.

Shimmer in Blue (Single pattern)

Here and There hat


Here and There is a perfectly slouchy striped toque with cable detail. It’s both warm and sweet.

Sizing: To fit head circumference 20-22” 51-56 cm;  finished brim circumference 18” 46 cm.
Yarn: 230 yards [210 meters] of Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted or other worsted weight yarn.

Gauge: 18 sts and 34 rows in garter stitch.
